This event is for those who love to get into the Christmas spirit through music (and who doesn't?). Caroling is one of the many great ways to come together, and this event takes place in the 1767 Courthouse in Edenton, a National Historic Landmark within the county.

Either join in, or come to listen to the community caroling to hear the traditional sounds of Christmas as they echo off the historic walls of the courthouse. Light holiday refreshments will also be provided.

Reading of "Polar Express" | Friday, December 11, 2015
Come on by the Historic Edenton Historic Site Visitors Center located on 108 North Broad Street to listen to the reading of the one of the most magical Christmas stories to date. Hear from Dr. Allan Smith as he reads "The Polar Express," presented by Chowan Arts Council. While this is meant to bring people together, the main point is to also promote reading and togetherness. Tickets are $5/family.

Edenton-Chowan Annual Christmas Parade | Saturday, December 12, 2015
Like any classic Christmas parade, this brings together the community of Edenton and Chowan County to enjoy the holiday floats, boats, horses, and holiday cheer.

34th Annual Christmas Candlelight Tour | Friday & Saturday, December 11-12, 2015
Take some time to enjoy this Candlelight Tour with a Colonial Christmas feel as you explore the natural decorations of private homes. Sponsored by the Edenton Historic Commission, this tour specializes in other winter activities during the tour. Even if you're just visiting for the weekend to enjoy the holidays, this is a great family experience.

Life of Jesus Panorama | Friday - Sunday, December 18-20, 2015
Celebrate the life of Christ with this event happening for a week during December at the Center Hill Baptist Church in Edenton. This is a great opportunity to bring your children and the rest of your family to hear about the life of Jesus, and enjoy the holidays with togetherness.
